Brawn Crab is from North Atlantic Ocean which is a robust crab of a reddish-brown color, having an oval carapace with a characteristic “pie crust” edge and black tips to the claws.
The adult of brawn crab is a reddish-brown color, while in young specimens it is purple-brown. The Brown crab has dense fibrous meat with a delicious, fresh favor. It is very popular in Europe and it is getting common in Chinese market for recent years.
